2008 Official Rules & Regulations
1. Customers must present receipts to Guest Reception from any store or restaurant at Polaris Fashion Place only. Qualifying receipts are on purchases made from 8/18/08 - 10/18/08 only. All receipts must be redeemed by 9:30 pm on Saturday, October 18, 2008.
2. Receipts may only be used one time and will be stamped when presented to Guest Reception. The receipt must be the original. Duplicate receipts, photo copies, faxed and internet orders will not be accepted.
3. Monday and Tuesdays are Double Point Days. Purchases must be dated for a Monday or Tuesday during the specified period of 8/18/08 - 10/18/08, not necessarily receipts that are turned in on a Monday or Tuesday. (i.e. a customer can turn in a receipt on Friday that is from a purchase made on a Monday and earn double points. A customer CANNOT earn double points for a receipt turned in on a Monday that is from a purchase made on a Saturday)
4. Purchases of Columbus Zoo & Aquarium memberships, faxes, kiddie cabs and photo copies cannot be redeemed for points.
5. Store employees may not request or copy receipts from store customers in order to redeem them for points. Additionally, stores (or store employees) may not hold receipts to give to schools to redeem for points. Solicitation of stores to hold receipts for schools is also prohibited. Mall store employees may not redeem receipts on behalf of the customer. Customers must bring in their own receipts to the Guest reception desk for points.
6. Receipts from Eastland Mall cannot be turned in to earn points at Polaris Fashion Place and vice versa.
7. Each dollar spent equals 1 point. Anything less and $.50 will be rounded down to the nearest dollar, and anything equal to or greater than will be rounded up to the nearest dollar . Ex. $10.45 =10 points and $10.56=11 points.
8. The tote board in front of Guest Reception will be updated weekly with the top 15 leading schools.
9. Any public or private K-12, elementary, middle or high school in the state of Ohio is eligible to participate. Colleges and other post-high school institutions are not eligible.
10. All schools regardless of size will start with a minimum student enrollment of 300. The highest point per student ratio will determine the winning school. The total number of points for each school is divided by the number of students enrolled in the school . Enrollment numbers will be provided and confirmed by the school.
11. At the end of the promotion, 10 cash prizes will be awarded based upon total points and then divided by the number of pupils to arrive at the per student ratio. Two first place cash prizes will be awarded, one (1) to a Public School and one (1) awarded to a Non Public School. Cash prized will be awarded as follows: 1st Public School $7500, 1st Non Public School $7500, 2nd $4000, 3rd $3000, 4th $2500, 5th $1500, 6th $1000, 7th $1000, 8th $1000 and 9th $1000.
12. The Polaris Fashion Place Marketing department will make the final decision regarding any dispute.
13. Polaris Fashion Place reserves the right to modify these rules at any time without prior notice. |
